Academy brings together communications professionals from across the public sector for the biggest gathering of its kind anywhere in the UK.

 

It is the first the event is being jointly hosted by LGcommunications (the organisation that represents council and public sector communications teams) and the Government Communications Service (GCS).

 

Academy is the culmination of over a year of closer collaboration between central and local government.  We have a fantastic line up of some great people from leading councils, government departments and great organisations such as the BBC, the Times Newspaper and Google.

 

Academy will explore the latest thinking on subjects such as digital communication, staff engagement and behaviour change, through to customer insight and how to run effective campaigns that have real impact.

 

Academy is all about increasing the understanding of key communications disciplines, providing great networking opportunities and improving employability. 

 

And with three evening events it also promises, as always, to be good fun.
